Multi-track recorders
I've decided that I'm not a computer person and I'm gonna ditch my mixer for a multi-track recorder/recording workstation. Whatever they call it now. However, I've been looking just at musiciansfriend at the top sellers and i began to wonder about the actual tracks recorded.

Prism ADA-8XR multi-channel modular AD/DA converter
This is definitely on my wish list for next year. Thanks for pointing me to this Greener.
Its pricy ( 13,305.00) but looks like it has everything one would want in a high-endconverter. Take those Cubase or Sonar DAW systems to a new level.
Has anyone had any experience with this beauty? Is there anything else out there that comes close to the ADA-8XR?

The Multi-Thousand Dollar Question: New Console
Hey everyone,
This is a hard post for me to write and I’m not sure why. I see a lack of information in a lot of these “help me with my next ” threads and I feel compelled to spill my entire life story for background information. I’ll try to keep it informative but short and sweet.
The Problem:
multi-track recording
First off,..not sure if this is where this post should be,..if not..just let me know.
also,..am very glad I found/joined this forum.
I am a songwriter mainly,..and am looking at getting a digital recorder along with a Dr. Rhythm drum machine.
Let me state that I dont care from puter recording..the more I can stay away fromt he puter the better for me.

Under $600 multi-channelDigital input what would you choose?
So here is what I think my choices are. I am some what limited by the operating system I run and mostly by my budget. I just need more inputs to my computer. I was wondering if anyone would give their opinion on this. Which one of these do you think is better?
Multi-input interface
Hi guys
Probably going to be getting real recording equipment (more than a mono-input on a $20 soundcard) at some point.

Multi-track recording (toneport ux2, Sonar 6 PE)
Hey everyone,
I need some help, Im trying to stereo mic my acoustic but I'm having problems in sonar.
1 input with "multi-out" mixers?
I'm actually helping a friend open a coffeeshop and we're now focusing on the sound system.
My basic idea is to get a receiver with a couple inputs (iPod,CD player) going to a mixer which has multiple outputs to go to different "zones" (ie, front dining, rear dining, courtyard, entrance, restrooms, etc.).

HD16CD - Digital Multi-Track Recorder ... Good/Bad?
Hi there. Currently I am recording my my PC's Sound Card and lately have began to realise that I can not capture the true essence of the quality. So, I am looking at getting something good for recording.
Has anyone ever used the ZOOM HD16CD?
CCLI
Right now, for the price that I am looking for, it has been the best.
