Mxl Mics; Are they any good?
been looking around for mics lately, I have made my mind up about the dynamic mics I need.
And landed on AKG D112 and some Shure sm57`s.
Now for the condensers.
Dont know how many I`m gonna get.
But the Mxl mics looks tempting and extreemly cheap, will someone wake me up and tell me the real deal about theese mics.
are any good.

MXL 993 Opinions?
I'm considering this mic for recording acoustic guitar and would appreciate hearing about anyone's experience with it. How does it compare to other budget small condensers, like the mxl 603, or the Oktava MC012?
Thanks.

MXL2006 = pre-modded MXL 2001 directly from Marshall?
Hi guys,
While i was browsing the web today, i cam across this new product from MXL, in which they say that this new model got inspired by all the "hot-rodding" being made to the MXL 2001, 2003, etc...
The new product is the MXL 2006. Here is what one add on eBay says on this matter:

Marshall MXL 2003
I own a pair of Marshall MXL 2003s. I've found them to be satisfactory for recording acoustic instruments and vocals, but I'm also interested in evaluations from those who have used these mics side by side with name brand large diaphrams like AKG C414s or Neumanns. On vocalists with higher pitched voices, the sibilance is quite noticable.

Oktava MK-012 or Marshall MXL603?
Hi, I want to get 2 mics to record my acoustic guitar. I just spoke with a guy at Guitar Center, and he said the Marshall MXL603 was getting some very good reviews and that 2 of those may be better than the MK-012's. Does anyone have any info. on the these mics?
Thanks.

MXL V67
Hi folks
I have just bought one MXL V67G. The manual says that is suitable for overheads, vocals and guitars. it is a very cheap mic, so I really do not believe it would do fine in such a variety of different sources/ rec situations.
Anyway, is it better than C300B's and GT55's?
I will be testing for myself in the following months.
