SM58 handling noise

I have always been a fan of cheap knockoff mics that work well: Samson, Behringer, etc., but decided that since I am pursuing serious recording endeavors now, that I should pony up and buy a 58 for once. I beatbox and make wacky noises while doing silly things with my mic and cord when I play live, and i've never had a unreasonable problem with handling noise, although it existed.

My mouse makes the awfullest noise

And, I am not surewhy it does it as I, simply am waiting for the time when I can afford a replacement cooling solution in my hoss DAW I built myself but which had the "Evercool" chosen as its cooling solution..(wc-201)which(I learned) is an "unreliable" solution..er that is to say I will make account for its reliability, this way...

A small amount of noise?

Hi, this may seem a silly question. Both what is an 'acceptable" noisefloor? Basically, I'm thinking about recording the final tracks for my CD - the vocals and acoustic guitar parts - at home on some very good gear. I treated the room with high-density fibre-glass panels, including a few that are 4 ply for the low frequency stuff.

krk v6 noise follow-up? please help :)

i ran the rca outs of my audio card into the rca tape ins of a eurorack mixer and then plugged the krk's into the 1/4" main outs of the mixer... when i turn the volume up on my mixer i still get digital static and noise...

if i turn the "2 track to mix" button off, then the krk's are silent

if i shut everything down and the krk's get no feed then they are silent...
