Phase Question - Connecting patchbayto inputs of console

I have decided to use a patchbay to connect the wall jacks to the back on the console. I have ADC patchbay with punchdown's in the back. My question is will I reverse the + and - on the patchbay when I wire it up ? There is a phase button on each channel. The mixer ( Tac Scorpion )shows the XLR and line inputs as being =

pin 1 - sleeve
pin 2 - -
pin 3 - +

Patchbay basics! How to wire a patchbay.

Hey everybody! I was hoping for some input and helpful ideas for my studio! I have two 48 point patchbay(AP 1/4" in's and out's) and I have my 100' live room snake patched up to it via HOSA XLR to 1/4" balanced snake and then normalled into my O2R96 via the HOSA 1/4" balanced to XLR. this is done only on the last Eight channels of the snake.

Building patchbay and XLR wall plates for recording studio

hello,

I'm having trouble figuring out what equipment ill need to send audio from one room to another. I mean i plug my mics into the wall and then out of the wall into my patchbay and then into the preamp right?

Now whats in the wall that connects my mics to the patchbay? Is it another patchbay? Or an audio snake cable?

Patchbays & D-I-Y wiring/cables

I plan to install a few patchbays so I can route/patch my gear and signals better. I'd like to see if it would be worth the time to "build" this network of wiring or maybe spend a little more and purchase everything altogether. I currently patch everything from the board. I know this is'nt the thing to do, but the budget back then was'nt up to par like it is nowadays. Time for change.

Recommend a good quality patchbay? Would the Behringer

I'm in the need for a 1 rack space 24-48 point patchbay.

My only requirements are that it is:

1) manually switchable (on the front or top of the unit) between normalled, half-normalled, open and parallel.

(would rather not have to open the unit up and solder if I don't have to)

2) 1 rack space.

3) As high quality as my budget can allow.
