PreSonus tubepre vs. . eureka
hey guys, i just recently bought a tubepre and although it was a relatively cheap device, i feel like it is a pretty nice improvement over the stock preamps in my mbox. my question is, how much more of an upgrade/quality of sound increase would i get if i got the PreSonus eureka down the road?

Advice on PreSonus preamps?
Hello all, I'm interested in buying a mic preamp and don't have a large budget (unfortunately) but I've come across the PreSonus Blue Tube DP mic preamp. The online reviews seem to be mostly positive. However I was wondering if anyone here has any expirence with it or other PreSonus mic preamp's. I'll be running it into my Digi 002. Thank you!

PreSonus Eureka AD192 with EMU1820M sync issue
I am using the SPDIF out on my PreSonus Eureka to my EMU1820M SPDIF in. My host is set for 44Khz and my Eureka is set for the same. I am getting a low level crackle on my audio. If I set the Eureka to 88KHz it goes away but the tone suffers a tad.
Does anyone know If I need to use the BNC world clock to sync the EUreka to the EMUs 44Khz?
Thanks

Hi,
I was looking about a year ago for an affordable home recording studio. The myspace page link is stuff we've done for less than $1000 dollars (not counting the computer)

PreSonus Firepod - Slowing my iMac G5 ?
One time i asked on this board why my Logic Express were having some trouble with only 5-6 tracks... the answer was that if I was only using the buit-in soundcard of previous iMac G4 computer, it was the cause because a so small soundcard would not be powerful enough to do pro audio - the i got my Firepod soundcard with pro.

PreSonus firepod
Hey whats up guys.I must be losing my mind. I swear I posted this in here and then it ended up in daws and computing. Well I guess I'll give it another try. I had a couple questions for you folks who may have had some experience with the firepod. How is the sound quality on this thing, is it on par with say a digi 002. The reviews seem to be pretty good.

The reviews seem to be pretty good. I eventually want to get an RMEfireface but I'll have to wait a little while before I can afford it. Probably be another 6 months before I can throw down on that.
