Adding PreSonus Firestudio to Project Mix
I have an M-Audio project mix but i need more I/O. The monitoring features in the PreSonus Firestudio look fantastic for recording bands (9 separate stereo mixes possible!). This really appeals. Will I be able to use the inputs from my Project Mix and from a Firestudio at the same time?

Linking M-Audio FW410 & PreSonus FireStudio?
Can I daisy chain the FW410 to the Firestudio via firewire or not? I've got the FW410 plugged into the Firestudio and the connection is bus powering my FW410 but I'm not getting any signal through to the FireStudio's interface on my MAC Pro.

RME Multiface I+Pre or PreSonus Firestudio?
The quick question in the title a little clarified in detail:
I'm about to bring my homerecording setup into a more functional shape. Computer-wise, I'm using XP and Cubase SX3. All prices are German street prices, in case you wonder...
For an interface, I have nearly settled on a PreSonus Firestudio (€777), together with the MSR (€189).

Opinions on the PreSonus XMAX preamps (firepod, firestudio)?
Hey, I've been lurking around here for a little bit now and have a question for the general recording public.
How do you guys feel about the PreSonus XMAX preamps? Where do they fall in the grand scheme of mic preamps?
Running my monitors off a PreSonus HP4 headphone amp?
My ADA interface is an E-MU 0404 PCI card:

PreSonus FirePod or MOTU 8 Pre?
I'd like to buy either PreSonus' FirePod or MOTU's 8 Pre. I've noticed the MOTU is 150 dollars more than the PreSonus. So what am I getting in the MOTU besides the expandability, ability to switch between sample rates, talkback/listenback, and -20 db switches?

Mbox 2 PRO vs. . PreSonus firestudio project
Hi everyone, my first post! I am getting my son either MBox 2 PRO or the PreSonus firestudio project. I have the specs from the compays, but which is a better quality interface and which software will be easyer to learn. PreSonus comes with Cubcase le and M box 2 PRO comes with Pro Tools le and lots of plugins.
We do not want to be limited in expantion in the future.

PreSonus question and opinion please reply soon
I have been saving my nickels and dimes for a good time now, I am a music student and am approaching a time where I have enough money to invest in a recording interface, PreSonus for the price has 8 input firewire interfaces here is the problem
PreSonus Firebox
I've read on the PreSonus website that you can use a Firebox (or any other interface they make) as a sound card for all your sounds. They give the way to do it in the FAQs but I can't get it to work for my computer...
Any advice on what to do, maybe plugged something wrong or not doing the good thing on the computer... if any one has done this, how can I do it?
