I just bought a G5 dual processor 1.8GHz that came with the 160GB hard drive.

So I gave Pro Tools a fighting chance. I bought myself a Digidesign 002 rack about a month ago. At the same time, I've built myself an awesome PC to run this one program. Everytime something went wrong I called Digidesign's "customer service," and all I ever got was "this piece of hardware isn't supported by digidesign.

I have recently upgraded from OS 9 - Pro Tools 5.1.1 to Pro Tools 6.4 - OSX - on a G4)

I have an audio cable connected..from digi001 analog3 to JW-50

Plus midi out from digi001 to midi in JW-50 and midi in digi001 to midi out JW-50

Hey fellow Audio lovers...

I guess my topic explained my problem, but I just bought Pro Tools 6.4 (about to be updated to 6.7) and and Mbox. I am using a PC, not a mac.

In my couple of years of recording, i have accumlated a library of vst effects and i want to be able to use them in Pro Tools...I am sure this is possible.

i have both of these poducts and i was wondering if i can use my m audio keyboard in pro tools using the garageband sounds.

I'm using Pro Tools LE digi002 with a powercore firewire for DSP (fxpansion rtas wrapper allows access to VSTs).

Things seem generally compatible except for:
1. changing parameters in some reverbs during playback causes a powercore crash
2. when access virus is included in the vst to rtas wrappers, then Pro Tools stops working.

I have a major dilemma, I have a Behringer ddx 3216 digtital mixer, a optimus concertmate 990 keyboard (it's basically a casio), and i'm running pro tools 6.4 with the digi 001 I/O box.

I was just wanting some feedback on pros and cons of these two.
I was look ing at getting a PC built by sweetwater using Digidesign specs. When I asked the sales guy what the hype for the macs was he said "your just paying for the mystery and cooldaddy status of having a Mac". Whats up with that? I'm buying a Digi 002rack LE . Anyone?
