hi guys its been a long time i did'nt catch the forum..was a bit busy...guys i m using pro tools now...i watched the demo clips read it in the manual that after you open pro tools you can load reasons adapted or Ableton but when i open reasons adapted it gives me midi input device error...that its in use by another application...in short my digi 002 rack is only playing one software at a time..

I really like the new Digi EQ III, but the program is severley lacking in a useable compressor and limiter plugin . Can anyone recommend affordable (or free!) plugins for the MAC OSX? I'm particularly interested in a multiband compression plugin for the main stereo bus.

I should start by saying that I believe in getting a proper recording professionally mastered before release...

But I need some affordable plugins that are better quality than the stock digi plugins. This is for "home mastering" mixes to be given to fellow musicians, etc.. I'm pretty happy with the new EQIII that Digi just released, but the stock compressors and limiters...

Hi, I'm ready to acquire Pro Tools LE 002 but wondering if the Factory bundle is worth the few hundred bucks added to the base 002. Is it worth it?

I recently switched over to the Mac world to do some video and music recording and have begun with a little iMac 1.8 G5 and 1GB of ram. I picked up an EDIROL UA-25 for the USB music interface and have been mucking around with garage band etc. playing keboard and guitar through it.

I RECENTLY BEGAN TO DO ALOT OF BUSING TO MY AUX. CHANNELS AND FOR SOME REASON THE I/O BEGAN SETTING ITSELF AFTER I LEFT THE FILE. THIS IS BRINGING ON PROBLEMS WITH LATENCY AND A STRANGE CONFIGURATION SHOWING 18 CHANNELS IN USE WHEN I DON'T HAVE THAT MANY IN OPERATION. WHAT AM I DOING TO MYSELF? I KNOW ITS ME SHOOTING MYSELF IN THE FOOT BUT I AM NOT SURE HOW.

so I just set a friend up with a new computer and an Mbox. The computer is a Gateway 530:

3.0 GHZ
1.0GB Dual Channel RAM
200 Gig System Drive, 120 Gig Audio Drive (Maxtor 7,200 W/8MB Cache, Both SATA

So, I have the Mbox full bundle (PT 6.7, Sound Factory, IK Media, etc.).

I have been extensivley using/experimenting with the meek compressor, bombfact compressor, and the standard PT compressor plugins. They're OK for some particular instruments, but not very satisfactory.

I need some advice from some of you pro tools users. I recently did a project where i chained up 2 digi002s. i of course changed the clock setting to ADAT. When it comes time to bounce i have some troubles. During the bounce it plays back at the right time. After its done and i import to itunes or windows media player the song is sped up. Any advice on how i can most easily get this right?
