from experience help me out people. lol. I am into rock music and want to get high quality recording. Digi 002 with Pro Tools or Mackie universal/onyx w/ sonar. I will be using highly equipped new PC for strictly recording. and what kind of preamps (with a nice price) can you ad to the digi 002 since it only has 4 and I may need from 6-8 when recording drums. Has anyone noticed that PT LE 6.7 seems to autocompensate for pluginsand when going da/ad thru an outboard piece? I must have missed the memo. I take a tone in a track, insert Autotune 4, bus it to another track and record it and it is only 38 samples late, less than 1 ms. It used to take 2000 samples!

anyone using PT 6.4 with Mackie control universal, using HUI emulation mode?

I try to edit plugins, works fine, on the first page, but I cannot get to the other pages.

the Mackie manual says: rotate the scroll encoder pot...
any idea, where it is?

any suggestions to step from page one in plugin mode to page two and further?

i'm having problems with my volume levels on Pro Tools. I'm using the MBox to send the signal to my computer. My playback, gain, and fader levels are fine, but when I do a playback or bounce the mix to an MP3/wav i have to turn the volume on my computer speakers up pretty much all the way to be able to hear it.

Situation: I can plugin my guitar straight to the mbox but I want to add my marshall ampifier inbetween! So I ran a 1/4 jack out of my line out out on the amp into the TRS jack of the mbox, I got no sound through the headphones I hope i didnt wreck anything, so I then decide to mic my cabinet with a sm 57 and just use the XLR connectors but I came up dead air again!1

How do would I complete this setup?
