Pro Tools Aux Question
Is it common to have mics to auxs and then to an audio track.
Example: E. Guitar.
3 mics
3 auxs
1 audio track
Use three mics on the guitar cab, Then create three mono auxes for each mic. Send three auxs to audio track. Listen to each mic and adjust each aux accordingly to get desired sound to the audio track and then record.

Pro Tools sample rate..96K or 48K?
hey, when recording with Pro Tools at 96K and bouncing the mix to the harddrive (a Wav file), it doesn't play back, but when i record at 48K and bounce it to disk into a wav file, it plays fine. i'm sort of new at this, so is there anything i'm missing
thanks.

External summing box for Pro Tools
Hello,
What should I look for in an external summing box for Pro Tools. I'm interested in no long mixing ITB. Want something with enough flavor to add interest, depth and power to my mixes.
Starting from 'square one' on this.
Any widsom and guidance?
Thanks,
Jack

Help w/ PT LE & Mbox
Hey all, this is my first post and I have an important question. I have Pro Tools LE 6.7 w/ Mbox on a mac. I am wondering if there is any way to create a bass line or other musical parts (guitar, violin etc) in Reason (came with it Adapted for PT) or Live (also adapted). I have only figured out how to use the drum machine in Reason.

I am planning on purchasing an Mbox with Pro Tools Le, and would like any input on whether my current computer will work well with it. As far as I could see, it meets all the specs necessary...but would appreciate any further input or suggestions. Here is what I've got:
