Just wondering how many Pro Tools LE or tdm users are having trouble with the Bounce to disk command stopping with"audio insertion error ff". Please mention OS and Pro Tools version. This is making me crazy, anyone else? For me it has been happening since I went to OS X and does it with 6.4 and 6.7. On my system it happens about every 20 bounces or so but seems random.

I've been recording music software on various formats for quite a while, and have just embraced pro Tools Free.
Not originally having the most modern PC, I have just upgraded my RAM to 192MB, I have 850 Mhz, and 20Gb Hard drive.

allright. so I'm looking into getting a Pro Tools setup. i wanna be able to do a full drum kit through it. so in looking at the digi002 rack mount, u get 4 mic preamps. thats nothing. i need at least 8 for a kit. so I'm not exactly sure how one goes about doing this.

I just read on the Digidesign website that your screen must be at least 14" to use Pro Tools. Does anyone know if this is actually the case, cuz I was gonna buy a 12" powerbook to run protooks but apparently I'll need a bigger screen. Anyone running PT on a 12" laptop?

How much/how hi (level) exactly when we record materials in to Pro Tools HD3 with 192 I/O.
I used to record a track as hot as posiible, but when it come to mixdown and inserted an analog gear (ie analog compressor :dbx160A,Focusrite blue etc) to that track, the level seems too hot, and clipped.
Please need advice..

just stared happening today. I'll go to load pro tools and everything will go great until it says "Loading DAE Objects" and then it freezes and does not respond. I could not find any info on this forum on this topic. If anyone could help it'd be greatly appreciated. thank you.

I am hoping some one here can help me out with this. I am trying to get the two units to communicate properly. I can actually get the 3216 to rewind,fast forward, and play recordings on pro tools but I can't figure out how to get the faders,pans,mutes or solos to work.

Does anyone here have a template or some thing? Any recomendations.

Hey, I've been looking to buy a new mac laptop for recording with Pro Tools HD via a digi 002r. The powerbook that I would need with 1 GB ram is $2100 new whereas a ibook with 768 MB ram is $1450. This would save me a signifigant about of money but I'd first like to know how well this would run, so I'm asking for some feedback from anyone running Pro Tools LE on an ibook.

I've recently added the ADAT "Option 1" card to my OctoPre and changed the Hardware Setup dialog in PT to reflect ADAT as the master clock, instead of Internal.

Latency is getting to the point where it's audible.. like a chorus or flange
Tested with microphone and line ins.

I used to get this error conistently...
I was able to fix it by opening the task manager in Windows XP (ctrl alt delete), clicking the processes tab, finding the Pro Tools process (Pro Tools has to be running at the time), right clicking on it, and setting its priority to high.
