Where can I buy high quality pre-made cables?
Greetings all,
I'm setting up a small home studio . . .
Where should I go to buy a few mic and patch cables that use quality wire and terminations? Please include a link if possible. Thanks!
Any quality loss by using SPDIF?
Is there any quality loss by transferring digital information via an RCA SPDIF connection?
The reason I ask is because I want to take in 10 inputs at once on my digi 002 at 96k.
I was planning on going from a Rosetta's RCA SPDIF output into my 002.

As a trained singer I do my best to sing at right kind of levels and have studied and practiced mic technique. I've been trying to find out more about the recording process and was suprised to be told by one engineer that the quality of the vocal compressor isn't that important. In my recording experience, engineers always seemed to save one of their best compressors for vocals.

Audio Quality Help
Hi! A month ago I purchased the BR-1600CD and am pretty new to recording and such. Anyway, I have a song all recorded, but am having trouble transferring it to CD with good quality. It sounds fine through the machine but when I transfer it to CD and play it on a stereo, there are a few problems. First, it does not play on normal volume levels.
