I have been asked to make concert recordings af a quite good choir (a cappela, about 24 singers) where I am one of the singers myself. I have no experience in that regard but are the 'technical guy' in the choir and do also the concert light. Now I do not worry so much about the gear necessary, also because that expense will be covered by the choir anyway.

so I've done the mix, all the music and have told the DOP that I'll have the latest copy real soon. Then I bounce to Quicktime and everything works. I open the new movie in Quicktime and the Audio doesn't match the video (not in sync). The audio was in sync in the mix. I don't understand whats going on here.

hi ! my multmix USB has mic preamps, but there absolute rubbish ! so i want to buy a better preamp, but is it okay to have 2 preamps on 1 mic ( the multimix one and the one i will buy) ? if not how would i solve this problem ?

So i downloaded a big plugin folder for cubcase le. I'm running a Mac OSX Tiger. i got them from here http://

I dragged the file (mda.component) into the plugin folder. (/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components/ folder)

That's what it says to do. but then i go into cubcase and try to put an effect on a track but none of those plugins show up!

I know all these school questions that are asked on here probably get pretty annoying.. so I'm sorry about asking another! But this has been on my mind and I wasn't sure who to ask who would actually know.

ok have a question got my Apogeeensemble and hooked outputs 1-2 up to my krk v6's.

I tried combing through a bunch of posts but doesn't really get me the easy answer.

I have a P4C800-E ASUS Motherboard, OS drive, Sound drive and backup drive. Running Sonar and a Motu24i/o. On boot up I'm getting a S.M.A.R.T Status Bad for my sound drive. Me thinks its time for a new one. The MOTO can do SATA although I've never ventured into that world.

Hi, Just got our ghost 24 and set it up nicely together with our carillon pc and MOTU 24i/o soundcard. I have a few simple questions.

1. GROUPS: Does the summing and stereo spread change when we use groups? Most of the time, we do not need groups so we just route to the left right main channel. Is the quality of the summing better, worse or the same when we use groups?

Ok, so I got a Mackie 8 bus dirt cheap... of course there was a catch, all the in-puts seem to work fine but when it come to the buses and routing it is having some trouble... basically the signal comes in and i send it to either bus or main mix and it either only comes out mono (should be stereo) on the main l/r mix or doesn't come out the bus I directed it to... etc.
