I their a way to use reason as a plugin in pro-tools (Like a aux track)? Or is the only way to load up you whole wav file and patch it into redrum?

I've been running Reason pretty much only as a ReWire into Pro Tools. Anyway, I have Reason Adapted and an Oxygen 8. For some reason my Oxygen 8 (or Reason) is not allowing me to map my keys to any of the controls within Reason. I can play the instruments fine with the keyboard, but assigning the panpots to controls within Reason is not working.

can anybody help me? how to connect Cubase with reason, if they are in different pc`s, Cubase is on my main daw, and reason is on my laptop.. can i connect them together, using firewire?

Which do you prefer? why? The reason I am asking this is because I have both but have not learnt to use either and don't want to learn one of the programs then find out at a later date I should be using the other. Would it be worth using both programs together? i don't kno if that even possible but anyway o.O

Hi recently I aquired Native Komplete 4 and Reason 3 (maybe reason 4, find out 2morro hopefully) and have relatvely no experience in make songs using virtual instrumentsother then some relatively simple songs in garage band. Anyway I have no idea on which program is better. Or which is better for me. I want to make techno and hip hop mostly. Also which would be better for recording a band?

OK, so, I have macbook, a firepod, a Yamaha P-140 stage piano, and reason 3.0. My goal is to use the keyboard in reason by running a midi cable from the midi out on the piano to the midi in on the firepod. For some reason, this is not working. Does anyone have any experience hooking up midi devices to Reason? Or using the midi input on the firepod?

Did anyone here try out the beta for Reason 4?

I've seen the article on Propellerheads website and it looks really nice, new synthesizer system, new sequencer, groove machine, and arpeggiator.

If anyone tried it, is it really worth the 400$(USD) or 500$(CAN) they sell it?

I'm interested in getting either reason or BFD to make artificial drum tracks for my recordings.

hi i just got my Yamaha tyros 2...i installed its usb drivers to the pc. and its working fine. wht i wanna know is how can i set the tempo sync of reason 3 like i wanna play patterns or a song in tyros 2. and i want reason's tempo to sync with that. i did enable external sync of the reason 3 to my external keyboard and its control surface to another keyboard. .
