REASONable mixing idea or complete nonsense you be the judge
Here it is in black and white "I like the tone of reasons scream distortion module". There I said it, maybe its a bit embarassing, but its a guilty pleasure I have. I sample my drums from Pro Tools and import them as .wav files into reason to eff them up ALOT. Did i mention i do this to live drums that my drummer plays? I think i also failed to mention its multi tracked drums i do this too.
Multi-core processors and Cubase/Reason
So here is the deal...
I want to get a laptop to use as a mobile DAW/electronic(midi)insturment/effects processor. I have the PreSonus Firpod and use a Cubase/Reason combo and a variety of plugins (Waves, Amplitube, etc.) to do most of my recording/production. I was wondering if it would be better to get a multi-core comp (c2d or X2) or get a single core processor.

Using Reason's MClass Mastering suite on Acid audio files
I know this is really simple or impossible.
I'm using Reason 3 in a project for the drum tracks and recorded guitar tracks in Acid 6. Is there a way to have the MClass Mastering suite effect the audio tracks in Acid some how?
It sound weird with half of the mix being mastered.
thanks,
niceguyneil
using Korg padkontrol with reason 3.0
Hey all,
Last night I bought the Korg padKONTROL to use with reason 3.0. So I got the device installed, opened up a reason test file and set up the device in reason. In addition to the padKONTROL, I have a M-Audio 48e midi keyboard set up for use with reason (this is set up as my master keyboard/device).

Reason refills - macintosh
Hi everyone
maybe its a little bit unusual question, but I gonna buy a macintosh and the reason refills I used before has been downloaded like images, so it doesn't have a classic ... .rfl ending, but .iso or .dmg ending, so its easy to use on pc through fantom CD software, or dozen other softwares, but how is it with the macintosh, can I use an image files in macintosh as well?

Reason. Making beats to music
How would i go about making a beat in reason and trying to match it up to outside music? From what I know you cant bring audio files into reason to just have play and play along to using redrum etc. I have a session in pro tools le that i want to add a beat to but want to be able to make something to it while hearing it. Thanks
