Im want to build a good studio. A family has a band that has been successful. I would like to build a studio to help them as well as mess around in for my own pleasure. Problem is i have absolutely no experience AT ALL!
I know a mic is very important and a sound board. I have pro tools 10 software already unopened.

I am producing and album of spanich flamenco solo guitar, we have been recording in a top proffesional studio in Madrid, Spain so far. We still need to record a couple of songs and make a lot of punch in trough the guitar in the rest of songs, but we are running out of budget and thinking to move to a another pro studio which is less costly

i have a Shure 55sh microphone and an Avid recording studio that came with Pro Tools. i cant seem to get the microphone to record anything. any suggestions?
