I'm a singer-songwriter who plays mostly acoustic rock/pop and I'm looking for a good budget keyboard to add a little color here and there. Just wondering if anyone who has experience with either one of these (or anything else in this price range) could give me some advice. I want something that has good strings and piano above all else.

For some years I have been using a Roland VS 2480 . All of the digital pieces in my control room are synced by a Lucid clock; all audio equipment in the studio is on Equitech balanced power. I'd like to think that I've given the Roland converters the best opportunity to do their job. I don't have any complaints.

I am using Pianoteq on a PC, hooked up via a TC Electronic Konnekt 24D to a Roland A-80 MID controller keyboard.

I have two damper pedals that support half-pedaling: a Yamaha FC3 and a Roland DP-10. Neither of them is working properly with my system.

I'm searching for a contact where I can get replacement parts for Rolands TR-909 or circuit diagrams or any information to the power supply unit of the TR 909. Or a contact where i could let repair it. Preferred in Germany or Europe.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT IS THE BEST PRESET FOR A GOOD WARM VOCAL ON THE ROLAND MMP2? THANKS :?:

Anybody have much luck with these machines, I'm starting to save up for one of these?

How good do they sound?

They like good preamps.

They hate compressors used in the analog line inputs.

If you buy the expansion card they have a descent vocal room with reverb and a nice compressor. The tube modeling one isn't bad. I have yet to really get into all the features.

The unit is like a maze.

I currently own the M-Audio BX5a monitors but I was wondering if the Roland DS-30A is better since it has digital inputs. But I guess I would like to also know if the DS-30A sounds better too or do they sound the same or are my BX5a far much better monitors then the DS-30A even it doesn't have digital inputs.

OK so I'm going to record my first track tonight on my VS 2400. NOT.

The book is so bad in explaining things that I was lost.

So I look through the stuff that came with, isn't there a DVD or something? No. there is a. VCR tape. yikes.

I've tried searching the forums for discussion on the m-400, but couldn't seem to find anything. Anyone have opinions about this vs the Yamaha? The digital snake and lower price point make it look pretty attractive...
