MixFest2001 Track Sheets for 5 songs

I need to know the format the recordings are on, and see the track sheets. I don't want pictures of the original tracksheet, just a list of the tracks and their original names. If it's called Fred's psychadealic guitar then that's what I want to see.

Do not include mix notes. That sort of defeats the purpose.

You should list your tracks in a post, like this.

Got a killer song you want mixed?

…A gazillion times? I am looking for a song and production to mix. The catch is, a bunch of people are going to do mixes on it besides me.

If you have a song that you would like mixed, and it’s a killer song, put up a URL to an MP3 so that we can listen to the song. I’m locking the topic after the first 20 submissions, so don’t put it off until tomorrow.

Step 2: If the song sucks, the mix is irrelevant

"But Mixerman! How could you say this? A song being good or bad is completely subjective!"

Well, not completely. There ARE certain proven elements to a great song. But I'm not going to go into that right now. This step is about the listener. If the listener hates the song, the mix is irelevant. A mix can only bring a song to its fullest potential.

saving synth patches/parameters for songs...

How would you recommend saving synth settings for synths with no actual "song" mode? I am currently using a Roland MC-505, a Korg Triton Rack, an Akai MPC2000xl, and an Alesis Quadrasynth. On the 505, I can basically save every parameter and patch as a pattern, even though I'm using the MPC as my sequencer.

budget-hours-song and so on

Hi there,
I'm a small facility owner.
We have 24 track analog, a G4 with a MOTU setup, a couple dozen mics, some outboards, a control room and a 40sqm tracking room.
I was going to ask all of you what was the typical budget for a 10 song project, but rates are so different from a country to another, so it would not make any sense.
