Need to eliminate sound from speakers in mic

I'm shooting an instructional video with a guitar, voice and piano. Sound is live, i.e. no headphones. Guitar and Piano come out of the speakers, but the mic does not. I have a RODE NTG-1, but no matter where I position the speakers, the RODE picks them up, a lot! (trying to position the speakers in the dead area of the polar pattern appears to do nothing).

Will acoustic panels eliminate bleed from speakers to microphone?

Working in a finished residential home basement shooting music instructional videos. I have a Shure SM58 on a mic stand just above the picture frame, aimed down at the teacher's mouth. I also need to have speakers on for the two musicians to hear their instruments (guitar and keyboard). I positioned the speakers on the floor pointing in the opposite direction of the video frame, i.e.

Front and rear speakers facing each other

I have come across a setup in a medium size House of Worship hall where two sets of stereo speakers are facing each other. The front two facing the congregation and the rear two facing forward from behind the congregation.

Is this likely to result in sound dead spots or is it acceptable if the speakers are phased correctly?

Thanks.

KRK Rokit, one speaker broke, repair, buy new pair or a single?

Hi Folks,

Any advice would be much appreciated.
Have had a pair of KRK rp5 (gen 2) for some years and been very happy with them
One recently failed (bass speaker not working). I am trying to decide whether to send for repair (out of warranty) which will cost £30 carriage there and back, £20 initial fee discounted from repair cost when done or the following options
