Marshall SE100 Speaker Emulator
Does anybody out there have a Marshall SE 100? I have read only good things about them.
JBsound said to try the Groove Tubes Speaker emulator. I like that suggestion, I just wanted to see which one is better? I read on the internet that the Marshall SE100 was designed by the folks at Groove Tubes. Is this true?

DI guitar bad for monitors / speakers?
when i was playing electric guitar as a teenager i remember often being told not to play the guitar through my home stereo because it was bad for the speakers.
in the age of DAW is this still the case?

comparative speakers
sorry to have a post so similar to a recent one, but I'm looking for suggestions/recommendations of cheap diecast self-powered speakers to use as comparative speakers - i did some mixing in a pro studio recently and it had some by Nanyo - no, I'd never heard of them before either!
i'm not fussy about true fidelity, i just want some that don't sound too coloured to be useful!

"Speaker out" to soundcard, How?
I came from the philippines.. I'm a newbie when it comes to these recording stuffs.. i got a karaoke amplifier here, I'm planning to connect my microphone to the karaoke amplifier, and the karaoke amplifier to my sound card, is that possible? the problem is i only see three pair of holes at the back that says AUX, VCD, DVD, but all of 'em are inputs.. the only output are for the speakers..

M-Audio Fasttrack troubles -only one speaker...
Only the right speaker gets recorded. On GT player express (came with the gear) the input level only reacts on the right channel. when i record with another program (acoustica) only the right side gets recorded and none of the GTP effects work. Why is only the right side working (i feel like ive tried everything) and how do i use the GTP effects while recording in another program.

Only one speaker working after installing sound card
I installed the M-audio firewire solo(The last topic, ive managed to configure it).

Hissing speakers when something plugged into FireWire ports
I have a pair of Event TR-8s that are connected to my Powerbook G4 and they emit a very audible hiss (like exagerated tape hiss) when I have something connected to my Powerbook's FireWire ports. As soon as I disconnect the FireWire cable it goes away.
I have an external FireWire HD that hosts some of my sample and audio libraries and need to have connected while I work.
cool edit 2000, recording what i hear from the speakers?
Sorry if I got the wrong forum. (and if so, please point me in the right direction)
