Equipment Questions: Speakers, Amps & Mixers for DJ/PA

Background:I've fallen into the fun world of ProAudio gear. I play Guitar, Keyboards and various other intraments and a month ago bought a Mixer to dump all the sounds into before sending to the PC for recording. The PC Speakers kinda suck, they aren't loud enough for me, thus came on my next project.

How do i turn my comp speakers into monitors?

Hey guys. So at the moment I'm getting ready to buy some powered monitors. but I'm not sure what ones.

So for the time being, is it possible to turn my computer speakers into monitors through Cubecase LE?

I Have a firepod and i hate hate hate monitoring through headphones during playback. My computer speakers are pretty decent so they should be fine for a couple weeks.

4-speaker PA system ... quadrophic controls?

Imagine having a PA with a speaker in each corner. Obviously the main L and R, but also a speaker in the back L and the back R.

Similar to the quadrophonic style home-theatre from a few decades ago,but for live use.

What would it take to be able to move sound from one speaker to another?

Hi Fi speakers

Hi people

I have a recording studio and i use Dynaudio BM5's and Yamaha NS10's for my monitoring. I just wondered if anyone had any recommendations for some general hi fi speakers o put in the control room to get a different perspective. I just had a flick through ebay and some online shops and there seems to be millions of "book shelf" style speakers.

Guitar Amp Speaker

Hey, this isn't exactly a recording question but how do you go about changing a blown speaker from an amp? I have an old Carvin amp and I wanted to put an Eminence speaker in there. The amp says 100 Watts on it, but I dont know if thats RMS or Peak, and even if I knew, Im not sure what the rules are. Will a 75W RMS, 150W Peak speaker work on this? Thanks.
