I have a a Fatar's midi out connected to the modules midi in, the module identifies a midi signal. The module is set to Perform, but when I change the patches it doesn't respond, neither to bank changes. The only sound I can hear is a simple piano.

Need microphone suggestions for RecorderMan method

Hi.. I'm new here! Came here via a link to the RecorderMan method thread. Just starting out with this whole home recording studio thing, and I'd like to try out the RecorderMan method on my drums. But I need some suggestions for some microphones. I need a pair of microphones that I can use for both overhead, and later for close Micing the snare/kick drum. (I only have two inputs).

Software Suggestions?

I have a stand alone unit and i am planning to upgrade to computer recording. Ive read that the first step is to figure out which software your going to associate yourself with. Now price is a bit of an issue, but if its nessacary than i can manage. What are your guys' suggestions?. By the way I'm leaning towards PC because i dont own a Mac and havent used one since like 4th grade. Thanks.

Suggestions needed for a Live recording Setup

Hi everyone:

I have agreed to set a full recording system for my children (Jazz, Classical and some pop/rock Music) but I need some help and comments in trying to determine the best approach and equipment.

I was for years into music recording (Neve, Cadac, SSL.. ) before moving into television so I am not quite up-to-date on all options available today.

Any Suggestions?

Hey RO'ers, I am an indie producer and at this time I haven't had the cash to really sink into my basement studio. When I am recording vocals I can hear the reverb from the walls of my basement while we are recording. Does anyone know of anything that I may be able to do to compensate for this? I have tried turning down the trim levels on the mic input, but I can still here the reverb.
