Any suggestions on the best way to sync up my Uptown Automation system with Pro Tools HD?

Currently we are running MIDI out of the Uptown PC to a Unitor into PTools. Operation is hit or miss.

One option is the Digi SYNC I/O. I guess another would be a sync box with word clock out. (like aardsync)

Has anyone had luck/failure with either option...or others?

Can somebody tell me how to sync PT HD Accel
as a master to Cubase SX 2.0.
PT is on 1. computer with USB Midi terminal,and SX on 2. with MTPAV on parallel port.

Has anyone experienced some sync issues with the MTP A/V ? If I try and run or distribute midi sync, the slave devices seem to "double time" or something to that nature. To avoid this, I have the option of distributing it from one of my Layla sound cards. It really is'nt an issue but I was curious find out what this could be. Anyone have any suggestions ? :confused:

I have a PC Intel 2 GHz, 256 RAM, Sonar XL 2.1, Audigy Platinium 2,
Mixer Mackie 1202-VLZ PRO 12 Channel.

I record my sax playing with a background in MP3 that I input to Sonar as a track.

But when I play the song, the sound of the sax is not in sync with the background.

me and my friends have been trying to get this VS-880to sync for weeks. we found help files of how to do it from various sites but still never got it to sync PROPERLY in any version of cakewalk. not sure if it was my friends system or what but if anybody has an answer, please let me know.

I've got a client who has programmed sequences for his upcoming project on boss dr 770 drum machine. I 'm using dr 770 to trigger sounds in my mpc 2000 and this is working well. But I can't seem to get the dr 770 to master sync in my 001. I've reset the oms in pro tools and set midi time code in the mpc 2000. I don't have a users manual for the dr770. Any ideas would be appreciated.
