Adobe Audition and Tascam US-1641 problem

Anyone know why Adobe Audition will not allow me to select inputs 3-16 on my Tascam US-1641. I have set up the new Tascam unit but when I try to view my input selection in Audition, it only shows the Tascam unit as a whole. I can record using channels 1 and 2, and it will play back on the monitor outputs, but nothing else.

Tascam Us-1641 USB 2.0 any good?

Im looking to buy a new interface, move up from the stereo one i have now, Any comments about the performence of the unit, or suggestions of other units i should get

I dont Run any other USB devices on my laptop and i only have a 4 pin firewire port, but i can get a PCMCIA card for 6 pin if anyone has a firewire interface in mind that blows this one away

Thanks everyone.

Tascam US 122L drivers sluggish?

This thing has been giving me only headaches. I don't know if it's incompatibility with my Compaq V2000 (yes I know a laptop isn't the best for this kind of work but it's all I have at the moment) or what, but the Tascam works fine for a couple of minutes and then, the drivers go nuts. MIDI input stops responding as well, and audio sounds choppy.

Tascam HD-P2, Fostex FR-2 or Korg MR-1000?

Hi guys,
I'm in the market for a good digital stereo recorder in the 1500€ range.
I plan to record mainly solo classical grand piano in live environment (Auditoriums, Theatres, Churchs ecc.).
I'll use it with a matched Schoeps CMC5 MK21 pair.
I'm considering Tascam HD-P2, Fostex FR-2 and Korg MR-1000.
