Volume Problem With Condenser Microphone
I have recently bought an M-Audio Solaris and am experiencing some real problems with the output of the microphone. I am running it through a Line 6 kb37 (with 48V phantom power ON) into either POD farm and/or Studio One 2 and I am getting next to no response volume from the mic when everything is set up (track is armed and monitored).

PreSonus Audiobox USB Low playback volume
I recently purchased a PreSonus Audiobox USB and made my first attempt at recording to my computer. Used the StudioOne Artist software which came with the PreSonus unit. Recording to my laptop, a custom-built (by PCLaptops) with i7 quad. I do not "seem" to have any issues with multi-tracking--but I guess I have read so much about "latency" issues that I'm paranoid.

Crackling while adjusting volume!
Hi, I have PreSonus Firepod 8 channel interface plugged into 2 KRK rokit 5 monitors. Every time I turn the volume knob on the interface, my left monitor crackles and stop sounding until I play with the knob long enough so that it's at the perfect spot where I can get clear sound out of it, but it's only temporary until the sound disappears from that monitor again.

Orchestra hits and volume
I'm using Garageband, I have a mix that has a crescendo into a loud orchestra hit, It seems this is keeping the volume of the final product a lot lower than it should be. Any thoughts on how I can raise the overall volume and still have that orchestra hit stand out?
Thank you

Are there any FX that will create volume pedal swell effect while recording guitar?
Is there a way to set up a compressor or limiter, flanger or other so that while recording straight into my DAW (Studio One) I can get the feel of a guitar volume pedal ( as I don't have a pedal)? I know once I'm editing I can do fade ins and fade outs but wondered if there was a way to accomplish the feel while recording?
Shure SM-57 Recording Volume Issues
Hello hello. I'm a home recording newb, and just getting started. I was hoping to learn many things over the years as things went along, but I've run into a brick wall already. A problem I just haven't been able to resolve, or find a satisfactory answer too. So I just want to pitch this out there for whoever may be able to help, or at least get me pointed at the right resources.

Large volume/broad range economy mic
I'm relatively new to recording, and have been looking to purchase a microphone for less than $500 new which would enable me to make quality recordings of Pipe Organ s in the cathedrals of Europe.

Need to get more volume on the headphone monitoring box!
Hello experts,
I have a recording studio at home. I dont have a wall between the tracking and the control room, so its difficult to provide good levels of monitoring when recording a full rock band, even when using closed-circumaural headphones.
Can you recommend me a good and cost effective active headphone box? Or a power amp for the passive box I have?
Best volume level for all components
Hey guys,
I'm a student working in audio and video post-production. I've looked around but didn't find much on what should be a simple question. Basically, what volume levels are ideal for all my components to minimize hiss and distortion?
