I've got another album project(i mostly do post work) coming up in a couple months and I'm not going into it with this friggin delta1010 I have...still can't reliably record 24 bit, let alone higher sample rates. And I've switched MOBO's twice...time to get rid of it.

I'm trying to clock the JV1010 to midi beat clock but no matter what I do the JV1010 just plays a sound at it's rate and dosn't respond to tempo.

I have JV880 and JV1080 and have them sorted but not this one?

Any JV1010 experts out there?

Maybe you can help me with this one. So far in my lifetime I've managed to carefully avoid participation in clock comparison tests, mostly out of fear that my badly abused ears wouldn't be to hear any difference anyway.

I've been getting mixed information. I use a Mackie MDR 24 HD recording unit with an analog board. I have no outboard converters. Has anyone tried a external word clock with a single unit? Will it improve the sound of my built in converters or is it a waste of time?

so I'm word clock generator shopping...Aardsync, Apogee, Lucid, yadda yadda...

the Aardsync is probably the most recommended, but what about Lucid? some of their smaller boxes seem about the same for a few hundred $$$ less than the Aardsync. anybody have bad run-in's with Lucid clocks?

I just got a clock generator. can someone explain to me what the differents between super clock (256x) and word clock output? are they the same thing?

whats the best way to clock theses devices together for Pro Tools,ie, which should be master also bearing in mind that i want to use the ADAT edit for trnsferring audio i/out as well.
