More Yamaha NS-10 Questions - Buying Used Tips and Model

I have three questions regarding the infamous Yamaha NS-10's.

1. What exactly is the difference between the NS-10 and NS-10Ms?

2. Which tend to be the pro studio staple.

3. Since the only option is to buy these used, how does one go about buying them via ebay, etc. while making sure that they're in proper studio condition etc.?

Yamaha Monitors - Model Confusion

Can someone comment on the lineage of Yamaha NS10 Series and how they compare with their brethren?

My understanding is that NS10's is no longer sold new
NS10M are still available new but are being replaced by the MSP10. Are these new models any good?

Also I have a pair of NS670's, which look similar to the NS1000's. Any comments?

Yamaha NS-1000M Question !

Ok guys, here is the situation. I may have the opportunity to buy NS 1000M (I think these are the ones Bill is using, right?). The question is: What are they worth at the moment? What is highest price I should pay? I don't know yet how much the guy will sell it for...he's just considering it. Speakers are in great condition with all original drivers.

thx for any info!

Yamaha NS 66

I'm posting in a separate thread since nobody answered my question in the other thread. Please help guys. I can get pair of these for $50 CAD. They are in good condition. but the question is:WHAT THEY ARE? I can't find any info on the web or anything else. Woofer is black, not white. They are 2 way speakers. I'd like to know if I could use them as some sort of studio monitors.

Yamaha PM-400 mixer

Hey all. I bought this thing in an antique shop for a hundred bucks a few months ago and haven't used it except to make sure it works. Anyone know when this thing came out? It's eight-channel and looks pretty old. I'm just looking for any info anybody might have on this thing. It sits in my living room and wispers to me, "use me. use me." I will soon enough.
Thanks.

Yamaha MR1642 - should I buy this?

Hi! I have not to much time to decide if I'm going to buy this unit. What I'm look for is cheap mixer to start out on - I was going to get a Behringer (bad SP), but then I saw anad for this MR1642 for $120 Canadian. It looks old but high quality, but I'm really not sure at all. Old may just mean sh*tty! (or vintage :) ) It has 16 tracks, four buses, VU meters, lots of sends.  I could find.
