Drumagog is stated to be excellent. It's a DX plug.

Thank you for your help. Actually ktdrumtrigger was one of the programs I was attempting to use unsuccessfully.
It did not have an area to choose the actual MIDI device.
Example: Like Roland MIDI port or MOTU midi port.

I think this has to do with Sonar. It seems Sonar does not have the ability to export midi from an audio track. Or there is some method that I am not aware of.
It seems like Drumagog does have the ability to select the actual MIDI device, so it may work. I will get the demo version and try it.
If it works, it sounds like I may have to get the Drumagog Pro, unless someone knows how to export MIDI from an audio track through Sonar.
Does anyone have any comments about Drumagog that they wish to share?

I do not use sonar. So cant say. But how it ususally works is like this :

After you insert an instance of this plug (KT) on an audio channel, the plug would appear as a midi in device in the midi input selector (on a midi channel) simply record enable the midi track and record the midi messages .(note values can be set from within KT) . Further route the midi channel output to a DXi, VSTi or an external module. Sould work...

Drumagog includes sounds that get get triggered within the plugin. No further routing needed.

both applets are velocity sensitive.
