Hi all. I've got a friend who recently did a factory-direct buy of some Chinese mics. He's holding a pair of ribbon mics (they're un-branded, but the same as the rectangular bodied Avantone ribbons) for me. The price is right, but I'm wondering about the cheap pre's I have, and if they will cut it with a pair of ribbons.

For pre's I currently have a DMP3, a couple of ART Tubepacs (they will be the first to go when its time to move on!), and a Mackie VLZ 1202 (4 mic preamps there). Would any of these be at least adequate at running a pair of ribbon mics until I upgrade to something better? Thanks~ Andy
