The style isn't really my bag, but I'll tell you what I do like about it - and it's something that is rare these days:

it's not a smashed, crushed to the wall, over-compressed, mid range drill-a-hole-in your forehead, sonic mess.

I can hear all the parts, from subtle guitar nuances to backing vox. It's got nice imaging, nice balance between parts, definition... in short, it's listenable.

And to me, that's refreshing.

Reminds me of New Wave. I like the distortion on the vocals, especially starting here 2:10 . I have been experimenting with that. I have down lol! I like it lot.
