When closing a session my computer froze, had to restart it but pro tools cannot open that session anymore.
I can't even import its tracks to a new session.
When I try to open it says =

could not complete the "Open Session..." command because:an error ocurred while reading the document.

Does anybody knows how to fix that?
Please don't tell me I lost the whole session :frown:
Thanks

What exactly happens when you try and import the audio?

Incidentally, have you tried updating to 6.9? The downloads are still up afaik. If you have an Avid account, you should be able to access it from your user profile. If not, you should be able to create an Avid account using your serial number.

EDIT: My mistake 001 only supports up to 6.4.

Did 6.4 auto save session backups? Have you tried trashing preferences?

Unfortunately the session file is probably corrupt. It won't be fun but you could try importing the raw audio files and using spot mode to make them snap to their original timestamp.

Always keep multiple backups. I have important information in 3 places. One of which I keep at home. If the studio burns down or is hit by a tornado I still have my clients hard work.

Disclaimer: I am not familiar with Pro Tools 6.4. If any of my suggestions are not available in 6.4 I apologize.
