Hey, guys. Greg Laswell is one of my favorite artists for a number of reasons, one of which being the sweeping melodies which make up his compositions. His instrumentals for many of his songs tend to have a very spacious feel, yet don't really seem to rely on an echo effect. The example I've posted in this thread is called "My Fight (For You)" from his new album Take A Bow. My question mainly concerns the chorus of the song during which the main instrumentation changes from just a guitar to a variety of other instruments/effects. From what I am able to hear, it sounds as though he is using a choir, a guitar and perhaps a small string section. However, I am not sure whether or not he is actually using these things or if he is simply using some sort of echo effect to add a more sweeping, majestic feel to the harmonies of his background vocals.
