Hi,
I have a Behringer 1202fx connected to a UCA202 audio interface. I have the mixer's output going into the interfaces input.

Before I record, I want to monitor the levels of the singer and when I click the monitor icon in my Cubase AI4 mixer (not the 1202fx), it produces this sound:

[/]Any suggestions and idea how to monitor the sound without causing this noise? Also, can someone suggest how I can connect the cables so that the singer can hear reverb with the earphones without actually recording it into Cubase?

Make sure you monitor any mic with headphones when tracking in the same room as your speakers and don't have your speakers on in the same room as the mic....sounds like your getting feedback and some beating oscillations back into Cubase from the mic through the speakers..also check your cables..
As far as getting reverb to the singer in her headphones create a dry vocal track in Cubase and then create a second track with the same vocal input and add the reverb plugin on it and then make sure the output of both tracks go to your interface to monitor. You can then adjust how much reverb you want and it won't be recorded on the dry track. Be sure you set you gains properly between the mixer and interface and Cubase!
