well . . . for beter or worse . . . i sold my RME gear (lots of it) and replaced with LYNX AES16 and a LYNX Aurora16 which is 192KHz/24Bit capable with 16 outs and 16 ins all in attendancel at once (assumming my computer system can deal the cards?).
i do have a custom Dual Opteron 2.0GHz with matched 2 Gb of DDR memory on a TYAN 2885 mobo. i run a RAID0 SATA system with a StorCase SCSI subsystem for archiving session data. no network or internet interface all as is totally dedicated to DAW use.
the RME soundded great but it required too many pices of gear to do what i needed and the RNE drivers got to be (over time) a little weak and troublesome! i had NO complaints about the RME 88.2HKz sound, just keeping my commerical studio running. i must admit usually it was minor issues.
well . . what i was leading up to was does anyone, using LYNX gear as i have, any complaints or suggestions? drivers? i use XP Pro SP2.

What about it? Both have their plusses and minuses... I use Sequoia as well (and have been since its initial beta period). I personally really like the object model of working and the better editing model in Sequoia. Also, the fact that I don't need another program (like Wavelab) to burn CDs and generate DDPs is a big plus.
Nuendo 3 is a bit cheaper until you look at adding Wavelab and its DDP option and then Sequoia is actually a bit cheaper.

So far, I've had NO issues with anything from hardware to software. It's all been bullet-proof. I haven't had any system issues either. (I'm running a P4 Extreme 3.2 gHz on an Asus board with 2 GB of dual channel RAM on XP Pro going into Sequoia)
I couldn't be happier. After listening to the Aurora, I was pleased to find out that I liked it better than a certain brand of "Blue" converters that cost quite a bit more. I found them to be far more "liquid" sounding and natural. In general, less hyped.
