I just purchased a g4 mac 733, dp3, MOTU 2408 and a midisport 2X2 interface. I'm trying to sync dp up so with the AW4416. I have not been able to place the midisport into the freemidi configuration. Should i reinstall freemidi? the person who installed it for me has fastlane as the usb interface, but i cant add midisport. I will only be using the interface to sync up the 4416 and dp3, not for any other midi device. also, i cannot run dp3 without starting up freemidi first. can anyone help?
