i got a 55.00 gift cert. to sweetwater from my girls for a birthday. bless them i need a few more zero's behind that anyway most of my work has been touring. I'm new to this recording world but i was thinking maybe a pop filter are there any out that that you could buy in that price range thxs for any input in advance. i've been busy recording and not having to get on a bus or plane. peace

I have a few and like the Royer ps 101 the best because it is steel, works excellent and will last forever. The others choices are nylon which do a great job but can run like a stocking if they get snagged and/or age. What ever you get, I personally like ones that attach the the boom so you can slide them to fit rather than ones that are attached the the mic clip end that don't side. They tend to be more difficult.
