I'm trying to connect my Yamaha s03 to my Creative Sound Blaster live!
I'm using a computer midi cable (it has a midi i/o on one side and a joystick port on the other). I have plugged it in correctly and set the keyboard to the midi setting. However when I'm working in programs, or when i check the soundcard menue in the windows controll panel, I'm told the card isn't recieving any signal.

Do i need drivers? or maybe i have to set something up in the synth's menu?
