I'm new here, interested to start learning home recording using a keyboard. Is Yamaha DGX230 and 530 sufficient for me to start?

If so, then unless you find something more desirable for the price and want to get that instead, I'd go for it.
Instruments are a personal thing - I like Stylophones, bagpipes and the double bass: I think about 3 people in the world do.

Whatever cheap product that will do what it's supposed to do is the right product to get started in home recording. Yamaha is known for cutting corners (plastic nuts, partially plastic housing, more plastic...) but their products are good deals for the money when it comes down to it.

Sure, you can't cut hits on £10 drumkits (or £10 anything really) but hell, if it makes a tuneful alternative to silence then it's good!
(If you didn't realise yet, I have no idea what those things you mentioned are)
