Please help me with finding vocals in Cubase le 4

First off I wanna say that I have only 1 day of experiance!
I just got a Audiobox Usb Interface and it came with Cubase Le 4.
I'm trying to record vocals into it . .but I'm just lost.
I can hear the mic in my headphones, but it's not regestering in the software

Have you got the track armed for recording?
Have you pushed the record button?
Have you read the manual?

I went to device setup like the manual says to do, but everytime I try to set the audiobox to be the vst audio system it says
ERROR opening USB device:(2)

Probably a driver thing. You need to install the correct driver

Probably a driver thing.

You need to install the correct drivers for the device, make sure you operating system is _not_ using the old drivers for the sound card and then make sure it is using the drivers for the new device.

What OS are you using?

The Greener......I installed the new drivers from prosonus websi
