$50 amp sI'm plugin as good as $1500 rack unit?
Am I deaf or? This was excellent demonstration imho. I can’t believe how similar the Fractal Axe Effect rack unit, sounds to the amp sI'm plugs. I grabbed the TH3 amp sI'm based on this demo, and it’s $50 special sale price. This is the second plugin I have from overloud, a company I discovered via a free api eq they were giving away.
Anyone know exactly what this drum notation figure means and how to program it?
It's the slash through the snare hit on the "a" of beat 2 in measure 33. Some kind of roll of flam or diddle? This is from Zeppelin's Ten Years Gone.
2 audio interfaces plugged in?
Hi Recording O, I'm thinking of Micing my drums with my Scarlett 18i8 and having a separate audio interface for my vocals and guitar. Would it hurt to have two interfaces plugged into the computer at once all the time, and switch back and forth? My DAW's are Ableton and/or Logic Pro
Thank You!
-Colin

Laptop has 1 audio port
There are a couple of ways to take a video and play along with it but when it comes to recording live, almost anonymously the pro's will tell you to copy the stream and import it into your saw, making it a static phenomena.
I'm trying to take a video, practice with it and record it out to mp3 with my laptop.

headphone splitter and In ear monitors/earbuds questions
I'm shooting some music instructional videos in a residential home basement. Due to problems with mic bleed, I've convinced the subject to wear headphones for listening to himself, and his assistant musician during the shoot as opposed to speakers.
