I have just moved into a house and have a fairly large unfinished basement from which to build a project studio. There is no insulation to speak of and everything is just basically framed with no drywall. There is power but I do have an electrician who is able to run power to virtually any location in th basement should the need come up.

So I noticed sweetwater was having a 24 month no interest sale going on. That's pretty keen thought I to myself, being I am in the market for at least 4 more preamps right now. I could pay off a pretty decent chunk of cash in 2 years,so I think my financial reasoning is sound.

Not sure how to classify this song. Has a dark ambient feel before turning hard rock. How is the mix sounding so far guys?

I have a RME Fireface UFX as my interface.
The UFX AD DA converters have received excellent reviews.
Would like to know your opinions if I should spend the money to upgrade the converters.
I don't want to be spending $2,000 plus on a new converter unless it would produce a noticable change in sound quality.
