My VS880 friend who I've mentioned in previous posts has just purchased a Mindprint En-Voice Chanel Strip and a cheap Korean large diaphragm condenser mic. Don't know what the mic is. . it's got "MC01" stamped on it and that's it. :D
He spent about $1600(OZ Kangaroo Skins).

So if I've got a HEDD, do I need a FATSO?

I recently picked up a HEDD, and while I really like it for certain types of things, it seems like it's pretty easy to go overboard with the effect. The "triode" distortion, in particular, doesn't sound very musical to me... it kinda reminds me of the crappy DRG "radiance generator" function on my old Finalizer, which I didn't like either.

Any other Planeteers looking for a place to land?

I posted this question at a couple of the other forums but I thought I would put it up here to see what the DAW world folks have to say.I run a small recording studio that does mostly demos and low budget indy releases. I prefer to have my mixes mastered by a professional mastering house because I don't have the tools and monitor set up to get proper results.

i want to know if there is (or not) any problem in upgrading from PT LE 5.0 (w/digi 001) to PT LE 5.1 in a w & b G3 with OS 8.6 or is emperative, to run with no problems the 5.1, have instaled the OS 9.0?
