Whats peoples views on the Tascam 38?
I already have a Teac 80-8 and lately Ive been in touch with someone who wants rid of a 38. Is there much of a difference between the two machines?

High frequency warping/woosh when recording metal screaming?
Forums
Hey all, I'm using Cubase to record from:
Shure SM7B -> XLR cable -> cloudlifter CL-1 -> XLR cable -> Scarlett 8i6 (Phantom Power On - Gain = 7) -> USB cable -> laptop.
I have both the stock pop filter on the mic itself as well as a pop filter attached to the boom stand.
PCIe Interface
Forums
Hi guys - my first post here, so howdy.
I'm building a DAW - I've been playing guitar for many years, and even using DAWs for quite a few years, always low end with make do hardware. Now I'm in the position to build out a pretty decent spec machine, and I'm looking at audio interfaces.

Rig for Live Recording to Digital / Computer
Forums
Hello,
I am primarily a musician, however I have been running a "Rock Band" after school program which is a lot of fun. I have a lot of experience with Garageband and I know this doesn't get much credit as a program, but I did a lot of recording on it with my friend in the past and I had results I was happy to listen to and continue to enjoy listening to.

Looking for a keyboard in the $500 range
Forums
I'm looking to get a keyboard in the $500 - $700 range. Will be using it mainly for recording purposes (so midi capabilities needed), but also for live performances from time to time. I'm mainly looking for something that has realistic sounds, so not Casio. It seems liek Roland and Korg are the top brands.
