Hi, I was wondering what you all thought, I personally like to make my masters at a certain level, not as loud as many albums have been mastered lately, because I like to keep the dynamics intact, so I take the master mix to aproximately -10dB RMS, but this is kinda quiet compared to some of the newest rock albums in which most songs are taken to levels that can reach -5dB RMS, of course dynami

Judging by what is coming to be mastered lately I am wondering if anyone takes the time to properly write, perform, record and mix a song anymore or is everyone in such a hurry that they don't have time to do anything well.

this might sound stupid to you guys but i have to ask :)

Is it a good idea for me to try to master my own mixes?

Does anybody know why is it appearing " C BIT IS DIFFERENT FROM THE SETTING" on the screen of DV-RA 1000?
It`s look like connection i made between ADC (from Focusrite TT pro) and DV-RA is OK. The sound is good and it seems like everything is perfect but anyway warning message is appearing when is turning on.

Where can I find a discography of a mastering engineer? Is there a centralized database for this? Let's say I want to know everything Bob Ludwig has ever mastered...
