am choosing a new mic for my home studio (vocals & instruments), but the doubt got over me...
the choices are:
* RODE NT 1 A
* AKG C-2000 B
* AKG C-3000 B
* SE 2200 A
* Audio-Technica AT 3035
can anyone offer me a good "comparison test"? any other mic suggestion in this price range?

ok so i just got a check for $300. i love microphones but want some opinions on these based on what i'd use them for .. (all for live use)

beta57a - if i got one of these, i'd use it as an all-around decent sdc.. probably vocals, but maybe an amp or part of a drum kit?

ATM250 - live kick drum, bass cab, or maybe even floor tom

ok I have a usb emu 0202 interface and it is not recognizing my microphone... I tried installing the drivers again but that doesnt seem to work... It won't even let me see the mic volume under recording for the device helppppppppppppppp

Can anyone recommend a good pair of Drum Overhead Mics?

Alright, I have a studio projects B1 mic, And It came with a shockmount, But the part on the shockmount that fits screws on to the stand is to small.

Ill be using one of these with a PreSonus Bluetube Preamp for hip hop r & b and rock vocals for now..I'll upgrade when i make some more money but till then i'll have to chose something between $100 and $150.00.

I am about to buy a 003 and some new microphones and was considering the RODE NT1a but soon realised that i had enough cash for the nt2a. My question is because the nt2a has different pads and polar pattern settings etc will it be just as good as a mic in the same price range thats focussed on a specific polar pattern etc..
