I have a lead on a Millennia Media Quad Mic Pre and I wanted someone who is familiar with the Millennia Products comment on it. I'm looking for a clean Pre for Vocals (R&B).. I already have a GR me 1nv, API 512, Langevin DVC, Peavey VMP2 and was wondering if this would be a good compliment. I've never heard Millennia and only hear mostly about the STT-1 (I think that's it).

hey I'm running Pro Tools LE and I've got an mbox and I don't like the way audio sounds through an mbox and if I have an audiocard with analog I/O and want to record audio through the card can I do that? (The audiocard is a M-audio audiophile 192)

Hi, id like to know what people think of the Behringer ada8000. and also i only have a laptop, so what i plan on doing is buying a soundblaster extigy which is an external sound card that has optical inputs and outputs. I'm going to be using it with Pro Tools. anyways the extigy is usb powered, is that a problem? and will the set up work? anyways. thanks in advanced.

I am relatively new to the whole recording arena and am soaking up as much as I can. I am faced with a new obstacle now - multiband compression.
I am at the mastering point of production. I have a tightly recorded and mixed song that sounds pretty balanced to me and the people I know with recording experience.

Please help me...I've bought this card after reading a lot about pci based cards and something isn't right. It just doesn't record well. My old card was a Audigy Platinum EX 2. I am using the same mic, the same cables, and I've tested them all at a friends house to see if they still work fine and they do.
