Help me build the most wonderful studio ever assembled!

I've been home recording for about 12 years and I've finally decided that now might be a good time to get into this so-called 'digital realm' everyones talking about these days. I've got about $5000 left to spend after purchasing a Blue Baby Bottle mic, Behringer Truth Monitors, a Midiman Ozone, Logic Pro 7 and a Power Mac G5.

TLM-127

I was just browsing through some posts elsewhere on the net and I was surprised by how many people hate this mic. I know the TLM-103 has its critics, but I suppose it's a matter of taste, and of course it has earned a lot of admirers too. I'm just wondering how many people here have opinions on the 127.

Thanks,
John Stafford

problem with mx-9000

Im sure all of you are gonna eat this up! but i know a lot of you have quams about Behringer products as do i . A few days ago i was playing drums and monitoring through my mx-9000 when all of a sudden all i could hear was noise. I notice on my board that the main solo light had come on by itself. I could do absolutly nothing to turn this light off and cut the noise.

...HDR ?

Hey everybody. I own, use and love my Mackie HDR. but, It seems like it's on the soon to be "extinct" list. I hav'nt heard anything about a "new version" anywhere. and the Mackie HDR chat room is pretty much dead as well. I know Tascam and radar have cotinued production. The "stand alone" digital recorder is just the best idea in the world to me as far as practicality is concerned.
