hey everyone quick question. No matter how hard i try, whether it be from garage band and/or Pro Tools, whenever i bounce to disk at 44.1 and 16 bits as well as all other configurations, stereo interleaved, all that good stuff, it changes the original tone once i put it in itunes. As well as the only way i can even get it into itunes is when i drag it to the library.

I have an opportunity to buy one of these soundcards, but am not sure which is better or if both should not be bought.

I'm just starting out. have a computer and believe the specs will cover what's needed by these soundcards.

I've been asked to record a rap performers performance live at a club venue. I have a MOTU 828MKII as my audio Interface and I will be using Saw Studio as my DAW. All I need to record is vocals and instrumental track. What do you suggests?

Anyone use MOTU I'm looking at the MOTU HD192 PCI anyone have any comments on this is it a good unit or can u get the same quality out a cheaper interface and what is the advantges between PCI and Firewire?

My question is when you are mixing in your DAW do you burn from your DAW or do u get ad external CD burner ive always just used the DAW is that wrong or is that what most people do?

I'm really considering getting an SSL DUENDE, which connects via firewire. I currently use a DIGI001 for recording (PCI card connectivity) an external firewire hard drive for my audio files. I'm getting a new PC soon, probably an Intel Dual 2.1Ghz or so, and with this new system I'll be using the DIGI002R I just bought (also firewire).

We're a startup company doing CD duplication and we'd like to make our CDs as retail ready as possible. Anyone have any ideas where I can get CD spine labels made or where we can get the printing supplies to print them ourselves?

are these two really equals? someone told me that the specs were very similar and that when you are buying crown you are buying the name. we are comparing macro-tech and RMX here i suppose. i noticed the top QSC 5000 SV or whatever is 3RU as opposed to crown which is 2, any significance?

is this possible? say a sonoma or pyramix DSD capable PCI card to be used with the pro tools on screen software editor and its plugins involved? or is there some kind of strict communication between the two?

i know that you can hook these two up with the direct outs and the input B. But my question is how do u edit the mix with the mixer using B does it re record it or what it confuses me. the reason I'm asking is because I'm planing on purchasing these two very shortly. If thats not the best way to go do u have any suggestions.
