Will have both Logic and Pro Tools(003 Rack) on the same daw, so would like to be able to control them both. Currently have a Focusrite ISA 428 which we'll be adding additional channels of outboard pres.

Forums
Hi all,
I'm looking for which headphones to buy for my studio, mainly for putting vocals down and some editing work when my 2 year old is sleeping.
I want really good quality, which is best? Would $500 ish get something pretty special?
I'd apreciate any feedback.
Thanks

LG laptops for audio?
Forums
Hi
I'm thinking of geting an LG S1 laptop for audio recording. Has anyone used an LG laptop for this purpose and if so how would you rate it?
Also, do you think it would be compatible with a Focusrite saffire interface?

Mackie 8 bus to PC
Forums
My friend has a Mackie 32:8 that he wants to use to use for his recording studio. I'm not a recording engineer; I’m a PC tech. He asked me to find a way to record on his pc from his Mackie board.
Do I need to get him a special sound card or interface card? Is there a USB interface he can use? What software would you recommend?

Interesting but disturbing read
Forums
It's a long article, but much like a train wreck, once you start, you'll be hard pressed to look away.
I think this speaks volumes about the state of classical music and obviously, something needs to happen.

PA system for a church
Forums
Hi all,
I am looking at setting the sound system for a church. The size of the hall is not big, probably looking at an area (rectangular) of around 450 and can accomodate more than 300 but on average 100-150 people.
Church will have their own choir/band (singers, guitar, keyboard etc).
