JBL LSR4328 and other monitor questions
Forums
Well I'm getting ready for a shopping trip for powered monitors in the $1400-$1800 range, and one of the usual suspects is the JBL LSR4328. While I'm inclined to be well disposed toward JBL I'm a little leary of the whole concept of the "room correction" electronics. My room may not be perfect, but I've put in a lot of bass trapping and calmed the most obvious resonant modes.

anyone have any experience with Behringer xenyx mixers?
Forums
greetings. i'm an 18 year old musician, and i don't have much money to spend on equipment right now. considering the low budget cost of this mixer, and the needs of mine that it meets, i'm turned onto it. i just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions or feedback.
please take this Mapex Black Panther snare (drumagog)
Forums
...in gog format for all you drumagog users. All hard hits from a new brass Mapex Black Panther 14X5.5. It's a medium tuning (med on top, low on bottom for a that nice little pitch bump that sits nice in the mix). This should fit in the mix with little to no EQ or compression. Let me know what you think.

Direct to Disc from Mixer Options...
Forums
Hey guys, I am trying to find a way that I can set up something to drop a mix onto a CDR direct from my Mixer, w/o running through my DAW. This seems like it should be simple to do, but I can't seem to find anything that can do that for less then $500-$600. any suggestions?

Any experience with the Deva-s ?
Forums
Lately I've felt more and more grumpy about all the stuff I carry along on a recording session. Mostly all the mic stands and cables. But also a meter high rack on wheels with preamps and AD-s and stuff, with a laptop in yet another box. Add to that a box with mics (the easy part to carry) and assorted bits and pieces.
